1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the provision of tuition, consultations, and educational resources by Complete Science. By booking a session or purchasing resources, parents/carers and learners agree to these terms.

2. Scope of Services

Complete Science provides:

  • Tuition in all subjects for learning support from Key Stage 1 upwards.
  • Tuition in GCSE and iGCSE sciences.
  • SEND consultations and guidance for parents and carers, including advice on Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), school provision, reports, and meetings.
  • Educational resources designed for independent learning and revision, including SEND-friendly materials for Key Stage 3 science.

Consultations provide guidance based on professional experience and knowledge but do not guarantee outcomes. They do not replace legal advice.

3. Booking and Payment

All lessons and consultations must be booked through the website or secure online system
A free 15 minute consultation is required before booking paid tuition sessions
Payment is required to confirm a booking
Payment methods are secure and processed online
A Payment ID will be required to secure paid sessions

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Sessions must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to guarantee rescheduling without additional charge
If a child is ill or unforeseen circumstances prevent attendance every effort will be made to rearrange the session but this cannot be guaranteed
No refunds are offered for sessions already undertaken

5. Session Expectations

Children should attend with camera and microphone on unless instructed otherwise
Children should be seated in a quiet suitable learning space with minimal distractions and have necessary equipment ready pen paper calculator if needed
Parents carers are encouraged to support engagement during sessions where appropriate

6. Engagement and Progress

Progress is reviewed regularly
Reports can be provided on request
If concerns arise about engagement or effort parents carers may be contacted to support progress
If lessons are not helping due to lack of engagement sessions may be discontinued or alternative support recommended

7. Conduct and Safety

All sessions are delivered professionally and respectfully
A responsible adult should be present at home during online sessions
Safeguarding and wellbeing are priorities and managed according to the Safeguarding Policy

8. Use of Resources

All digital resources provided by Complete Science are for personal, non-commercial use only.

Resources are licensed to the individual purchaser and may not be shared, copied, distributed, resold, uploaded, or reproduced in whole or in part without prior written permission.

Resources are intended to support learning and may be used independently by the purchaser or learner for educational purposes. They are not designed to replace formal schooling, tuition, or statutory education provision.

While every effort is made to ensure resources are accurate, clear, and appropriate, Complete Science does not guarantee specific outcomes. Learning progress will depend on individual circumstances, engagement, and use of the materials.

Access to digital resources is provided following secure payment. Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are not offered once access has been granted, except where required by law.

9. Liability and Insurance

Complete Science holds professional indemnity insurance of £1,000,000 and public liability insurance of £2,000,000
Liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of tuition consultations or resources is limited to the amount paid for services
