Booking and Cancellation Policy
Booking sessions
All tuition, learning support sessions, and parent consultations with Complete Science must be booked in advance using the online booking system.
Parents and carers are required to book a free 15 minute initial consultation before booking and paying for any lessons or consultations. This initial consultation is used to discuss needs, priorities, and the most appropriate type of support.
Sessions are available to book up to 48 hours in advance, subject to availability
Delivery of sessions
All sessions are delivered online. A Microsoft Teams link will be sent in advance of the scheduled session.
Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring that the learner has access to a suitable device, internet connection, and a quiet learning space.
A responsible adult must be present in the home during online sessions with children and young people.
Payment
Payment is required in advance to confirm all bookings. Secure online payment is used for all sessions.
A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received. Unpaid bookings will not be held.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Where notice of 48 hours or more is provided, sessions may be rearranged subject to availability.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice cannot be guaranteed to be rearranged.
If a learner is unwell or there are unforeseen circumstances preventing attendance, every effort will be made to rearrange the session. However, this cannot be guaranteed and will depend on availability.
No refunds are offered for sessions already delivered.
Late arrival and non attendance
If a learner arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.
If a learner does not attend a scheduled session and no prior notice has been given, the session will be recorded as delivered and cannot be refunded or rearranged.
Parent consultations and SEND support
Parent consultations provide professional guidance and support based on experience in education and SEND. These sessions are intended to help parents better understand their child’s needs, explore strategies, and prepare for discussions with schools or other professionals.
Consultations do not constitute legal advice and do not replace statutory processes or decisions made by local authorities, schools, or other agencies.
Scope of support
Complete Science provides educational tuition, learning support, and parent consultations. Outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as progress depends on a range of factors including engagement, attendance, and individual circumstances.
All sessions are delivered professionally and respectfully. Safeguarding and wellbeing are a priority and are managed in line with the Complete Science Safeguarding Policy.
